2.  Mission Statement/Philosophy:
We believe that early childhood is a fundamental stage of development in which a child begins to form his/her individual personality and character, and is the basis for the child’s physical, cognitive, and interpersonal growth.

Therefore, we feel that it is essential to recognize the child’s individual and age-appropriate needs and to provide a warm, nurturing, and stimulating environment for the child during this time. By doing so, we hope that we can enrich the child’s mind and overall well-being so that each child can grow to become active, inquisitive, social, and caring individuals.
3. Day Care Curriculum/Type of Activities
· Music: learning about rhythm, beats, melodies, various     instruments

·Learning about various cultures and languages (i.e. English, Japanese)

· Arts/ Crafts

· Learning about good health/nutrition/personal hygiene/safety
   (i.e. brushing teeth,   washing hands, gross motor exercise)

· Learning/exploring the world, nature, science, and the environment

· Outdoor activities/play/games (Large backyard available)

· Learning basic manners; interpersonal skills via group play/interactions

 To help the child develop into cultured, worldly, and open-minded individuals

· To help the child grow to be healthy, happy, and strong individuals

· To help the child develop his/her own ideals/views by being in a stimulating and well-rounded environment

· To help the child develop a willingness for and an enjoyment of learning
